Default Grab Clipped objects by lines

    Hi,

It would be nice if clipped view could be selectable by the outline.
In the attached example it's easy to right-click/copy the transparent rectangle by the outline but not the clipped view.

By "Clipped view" I assume you are referring to the clipped object, which is the red rectangle.

    Hi Steve,

I meant the whole selecting the whole clipping view.

In the example the clipping object has a transparent back round, so you cant 'grab' it by the outline like the rectangle next to it.

Thanks for the pointers Steve and John.

I now about the layer gallery method.
You can also Right-click on the object and select clipping objects, you can even set a keyboard shortcut to do so.

I was suggesting this as a productivity detail to simplify workflow.
Also because I don't understand why it's like this :-)
