Problem with XaraDesignerPro X movies

I just downloaded and purchased my upgrade to XaraDesignerPro X. One of the first tips was to check out the movies. I did that and found NONE of them played in FireFox 20, and only some played in IE10. Some that did play in IE10 had no video, sound only. Does anyone have any suggestions, or maybe the site is having a few problems?

There is no Xara Designer Pro X upgrade yet, Alan..
Only Web Designer 9 has been released, but not DP9.

I assume you are running Windows 8?

Most of Xara's movies are located on YouTube, do they play there? ► http://www.youtube.com/user/XaraVideo?feature=watch

Can you play the movies located at http://www.xara.com/us/resources/designerprox/ I have no problem viewing them in Google Chrome.

F, you know those ARE the videos I explained which are located on YouTube. Xara just embed them, but they are still using YouTube, they are not located at Xara.

Hello Alan,

Version numbering gets all confusing doesn't it? Not confused yet? Designer Pro X is actually Designer Pro version 8. Clear as mud? Version 9--whatever they will call it this time--is yet to be released, probably in a couple months though.

Do the movies at the link Sledger provided work for you?
