Default HTM - HTML in WD9

    hI All,
Nice feature the new express publish button. However I'm running into trouble with this novelty. It exports in htm extension and my webserver doesn't chew these in the right way. So how can I make XARA WD9 understand that I want to have the site exported in html extensions iso htm. Second question regarding this new feature is where the exported files are kept on the hard disk and do we have the possibility to redirect it to an other folder. It surely is not going to the place where they are normally parked.

Not got 9 yet so I cannot answer your second question but to force the software to export all the pages in html format simply rename the index.htm page to index.html in web properties

Thanks Skech but, and this question may sound ridiculous I know, how do I do that? If I enter under page filename index.html I'm going to get a result like index.html.htm.. In the MX version we needed to go to the map where the site was parked on our local disks and point towards the index file. Once this one was marked .html there was no more issue. On the other hand it was a bit of a fuss navigating towards this point each and every time. Now this has been automated, but we can't indicate any longer whether we want a .htm or .html file name. With all due respect to all good intentions of the Xara engineers I have the feeling as I'm falling from the frying pan into the fire.

Rufin, you have the most bizarre web host. I don't know of any web servers that have any problems with htm files.

name your home page (Website Properties > Page) index.html

All of your pages will export as .html
