Strange new occurence for me....jpg.xar

XaraX: I prepped a bunch of photograps, exporting .jpg's from the main menu. Then I sent them to my friend, but she couldn't open them because of the .jpg.xar. This has never happened to me before and I don't know how or what I did for the pics to come out like that. Any thoughts appreciated.

what you might have done is use save instead of export- save would append .xar to the file name even if you typed in image.jpg so you would end up with image.jpg.xar

EDIT: just checked and it appears to do that with the export too if you actually type in the .jpg, but have it set to .xar in the drop down menu

Your friend might just be able to change the jpg.xar to .jpg

Surely it wouldn't be as simple as lopping off the .XAR from the file in Windows Explorer. If so I just may have to kick myself.
