Changing Line Colors in WD 9?

I'm also having trouble getting the "Line Color" editor in the color editor. I can pull up the color editor (Ctrl + E) and change the fill color, but there is no drop down option to change the "Line Color".

Is there a new way I need to change the line color in WD 9? Just seeing if I'm a total moron or a lesser moron...

Is this when you select a particular object, or any?

Draw a rectangle
Open the Colour Editor
In the drop down menu at the top you'll have 'Local line colour' and 'Local fill colour'.

You can also apply a line colour by first selecting the object and applying a line width from the drop down menu at the top of the program window, then chnage it's colour by right clicking on a colour from the colour line at the bottom and select 'Set line colour'

Good to know - if it's working for someone else, I know it's a local issue and not an unaddressed issue in the new version release.

Hi PeteS,

I'm still having the same problem - I've included a screen shot to show what I see. When I draw a shape (in this case, a simple square) and set the line width to 1px or whatever, and then I go in to modify the color of the shape or the line, it only gives me 1 choice: "Color". It doesn't give me the "Set Fill Color" or 'Set Line Color" as it should (and did in WD 8MX).

Any ideas?

Ah yes, I see the steps now, thanks. It has been logged for the developers to look at.

For now work around this issue by either:
- Draw rectangle
- Colour Editor
- Select 'Local line colour' from the drop down list
- Then drag to apply a colour (that also applies a 1px line width)

or after applying the line width as you have, right click a colour on the Colour Line and select 'Set line colour'
