Stop Tiling on background Image and Change Image Size

Hello there Helen here

I am testing Xara 3D Maker 7

I created a background image of 1280*720 but it always Tiles when I apply the Image,

I can use the Image X and Y controld to center the image, but the Image Sizing option is not enabled.

Questions (1) how do I turn off background Image Tiling ?
(2) How do I enable the Background Image sizing control ?

Right now the image I import always gets resized down to some Xara 3d preset size, If I can stop the Resizing that would work too!

Hmmmm Replying to my own thread.

This issue with background image sizing/tiling is extremly popular according to Bing analytics, but alas no answers

What I found I could do was go to the "Window" menu option on Xara 3d maker 7 and then elect a frame size that was exactly the same size as the imported background and then wiggle the background around so no tiles show whatsoever

It is not the perfect solution, but god enogh for now

the answer is:

it tiles, you can't turn it off, it's designed for either seamless tiling backgrounds, or to export with no background at all and composite it in another app...

so yes you have to adjust the background to fit your animation if you want to it all in xara3D......... maybe best done by making sure your bitmap that you use for the background matches your frame size exactly before you import it
