    Default Alignment question

Hi, if there is a scenario that a rectangle with border should be aligned to bigger rectangle, for me having the Snap to objects works like it is marked with red on the attached picture, putting the half of the border outside.

Is there maybe some settings which controls the Snap to objects differently, in this case I would like rather if the border would be counted in the dimensions of the smaller rectangle and not having that hanging over part. For example at web pages can be very often this need

I would create a proper border (shape) rather than a line width.
For example, using the contour tool with 1 step.

It is super like that so the snap blue line appears with that, thanks Phil
