Ron... bloody brilliant!, totally loving that rose and its reflection is perfect. Very nice re-work of the vase, the level of translucency and depth achieved through those new curves and tones is excellence. Nice choice of background too........... a worthy addition to any Gallery.

Just seen this thread for the first time. To me the colour of the vase is of a personal preference. The field full of flowers is a by far better backdrop. It stops it from being an exercise in fades and fills and makes a picture out of it especially with the farm house peeping round the edge of the vase, this really takes your eye deep into the picture. The perspective of the tiles in your first picture is too vertical from the view point but the wooden table top just does the trick.
All in all it’s a BIG 10-4 from me...
