Resizing text areas

I am using the Innovate Theme in XWD MX Prem 8.

I am trying to re-size the text areas, without success. I read the comments Egg Bramhill and gwpriester made in relation to the message "Selector Tool behavior" and viewed the video one of them put up.

But I can not get the little RED Squares to appear. I have clicked on the text areas with the Text Tool and the only result is a cursor. Regardless of where I click in the Text Area.

I can re-size the coloured line box with the Selector Tool, but not the Text Box.

Help greatly appreciated.

Innovate Theme
First you need to Un group each panel (sometimes twice).
Then select the text using the text tool.
Because the text is applied as a Text Column, there will not be any red dotted text area rectangle, only a single text column-width line. Grab the red end point to resize the column width.
Some of the panels use anchored graphics within the text, so you are dealing with quite a few different features of Web Designer using that theme. It's quite 'Innovative'
