Default Drawing a simple oval in XPGD7

    HI All,

I just tried to draw a simple oval in XPGD7, and it seems I can only draw a circle. Is there something I am missing? Any help please.

Hold the ALT key while dragging an ellipse.

(PS: Ovals are egg shapes )

Thanks for that, I need to draw both thanks. Wasn't it easier in older versions? I do have the "v8" but it crashed on me a few times so I reverted to version 7.
I've tried pressing ALT as I draw but still get a circle and not an ellipse.

OK, press the Bounds creation button, then you can draw an ellipse without holding ALT.

There's never been an 'oval' quickshape tool, Andy. You'll need to manually draw and egg shape.
Draw an ellipse, convert it to shapes and move the top anchor point upwards.

Another great tip from Sledger, doing elipses is always trial and error for me and rather than searching for an easier way just keep trying lol - yeah i know.......but this tip will help me next time. Thanks
