Using Widgets

Hi everyone

As some on you may know I am currently using a laptop borrowed from a friend when mine died a death. I was using webdesigner 6 on mine and his has webdesigner mx premium. My problem is that I have never used widgets before from the design gallery and when I go to them they are mostly red folders, so I went and clicked on the Download content installer and this did what it does and seems to work (in that it downloads, then installs and closes) but the red folders are still red, can someone help me please as I really need to use the cloud zoom widget for a website I am finishing off.

The red folders represent 'additional' packages that are available for purchase.

When you add your own folders to the gallery, they will appear as green.

I thought the cloud zoom and slider widgets came with the software, as it says so on this page http://www.xara.com/us/products/webd...contentwidgets I checked out the widget and web packs and they simply do not include the widgets show on this page, any ideas?

Have you looked under: Page Elements/Photos/Photo Slideshows (wdgets)?

Yes, but it is the same; red folders, and when clicked on it takes me to a page on xara site showing to download the content installer, I know that it is doing something but nothing seems to be happening. I cannot see where it is making the download and installing either.

I had something like that once and vaguely remember that after restarting the program or rebooting the system the contents were available (strangely, though, some of it is still being downloaded when I drag & drop it onto the page even though I downloaded the content installer).

If this doesn't work I guess this might be something for support.
