Default Copy a part of an object.

    Hi folks.

Probably a very elementary question, but...

    Xara Xtreme Pro 5.

A simple example: I place a shape over an image or another shape and press Ctrl-4. The result is a cutout of the bottom object which is the shape of the top object.

This is destructive to the object being operated on.

Is there any shortcut that will result in a copy the shape of the top object rather than a cutout, thus leaving the rear object intact?

Fastest way is to Ctrl-K (clone) the bottom object before you Ctrl+4 with the top shape and clone selected.
In fact, you can use Ctrl+3 which removes the cloned copy and leaves the original and the cut-out on the page in one operation!
