Hi,
I don't think I'll be buying a Playstation 4 from what I hear it won't be backward compatable unless through a 'stream' source ($$$). But one thing I did read it will be 4k Video compatable if you can afford a 4K TV..LOL

The PS4 seems very clever - particularly the social networking slant to it. It's as much about the social gaming experience as it is about technical specs.

I think they are making a big mistake with the social media sharing stuff, just look at your typical hardcore gamer, not a social animal and not really a member of the facebook or twitter brigade, who seem mainly to be females in the 14 to 30 age group. What a hardcore gamer wants is good graphics, no slow up, no glitches, great game selection and a stable network to play call of duty, the rest is pointless, and it seems that they have done it on the cheap and will have a x86 processor and it will basically be a mid range gaming pc. Can't wait to see what microsoft come up with.

I think you're way off on the social aspect skech and I guess Sony do too. It's not just about your buddies chatting about games they've played, it's about people working together, forming team easily and co-operating. It's not been easily possible and it seems Sony wish to change that.

We'll have to wait and see.
