Centering pop up images

I have a grid of 20 images - 4 across and 5 down.
When you click on an image, it opens as an enlarged pop up as it's supposed to BUT....
If you click on the top LH image, it opens on the left of the pop up page.
If you click the second image in the top row, it opens just to the left of centre.
3rd image - opens just to the right of centre and the 4th image - on the RHS of the page.
As you move down the rows, the same thing happens and they open up lower down on the pop up page.

Is there a way simply to get any image that is clicked on to open in the MIDDLE of the page?
Let's face it, this is a whole lot nicer.

In versions 7 and 8, there's no longer any need to name an object <head>
Just place the code into the HTML code (head) section in the Website tab of Web Properties.
