Thanks to everyone - I am so impressed by you all.
I have gone through all your suggestions and so far been able to play around with some examples.
Angelize, I have looked at your suggestions and done the blend with the 3 lines.
However after that I was not able to follow that with the curve.
Instead I have used Csehz suggestion and used the Mould tool instead which seems to me to be good enough as a starter.
    Thanks for all good help.

What was giving you trouble Thopaga? Blending to Curve or Selecting and editing the line to adjust the blend?

    Hi Angelize.
Blending to Curve seems to go OK.
I select everything at presses the button FIT BLEND TO CURVE.

It is Selecting and editing the line to adjust the blend that seems not to work.
According to your instructions I should be using the Shape Tool.
It looks like I do not know how to drag the curve correctly, because the result is not good looking.
Maybe after some time I will try again.
The Mould tool seems to work OK for me.
    Thanks for your kind help.

I suspect you have to select the line or path first holding down the Ctrl key and selecting it with the Selector Tool, then switching to the Shape (Editor) Tool to edit the line. When I created the blend you posted as an example of what you were trying to do, I created the three lines, then created a blend, and then selected each of the lines and edited the curve of the lines. I did not used the Mould Tool and there was no reason to Blend to a Path.

Thanks Gwpriester, but now I have a question.
When I blend your first line from top to second line it works OK.
But when I try to blend down to the third line it becomes messy.
    What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks.

Ah yes. Select the purple line, then select the Shape Tool. On the Infobar press the Reverse Paths icon.

    Now try your blend again.

Thanks Gwpriester for your kind help - amazing.
Lines with head and tail also.
Now I really have learned something from you all and it starts to be fun to create something.
    Thanks.
