Current floor shadow falls behind object only. Give it the ability to be positioned 360-degrees around object so light source can have any location.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

I would agree if I only used the shadow tool for screen apps, only for print it is very different. Causes real problems normally I would group objects, - combine objects, - change colour to black, - reflect, - Mould tool, - blur, - create bit map copy(might be for the whole area).
    Design is thinking made visual.

Does make me realise how spoilt we've become as users. From the days where nothing offered drop shadows and it was a question of duplicate the object, make black, blur, place behind, nudge.

You guys must be making a lot of shadows, is all I can say!
