Different Backgrounds on other pages

I searched for this but couldn't seem to find what I was looking for. My page background on the index page is automatically repeated to all other pages, is there a way to change the background on the subsequent pages. I have tried just to lock it on the index and delete it on all others but the background gets deleted on all pages (including the locked index page) when I try that.

There is an option in Page Options that all pages are the same size. Uncheck this option and then you can have different colors on different pages.
