Default Is there a stacking feature for macro photographing

I am wanting to focus stack a number of images on top of one another while using macro shots. I could not find if this is feature available in any Xara product. The is key to creating multiple focal planes when in macro mode. This has been a feature in Photoshop. Please see this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gf7ABBqd0bw

    Thanks,

In a word, no. Xara Designer Pro X isn't a Photoshop clone, it's a vector design application that can work with bitmaps, but it's not anything like PhotoShop, so comparing PS to Xara Designer isn't really valid.

However have you tried stacking your variably focused photos and using the transparency tool to reveal only the focused areas of each image on top of the base photo?
I'me sure it would work, maybe laborious unlike PS's photo merge, but probably doable.
