    Default Gradient steps

Hi, could you please have a short look on the attached picture, do you have maybe idea how to constraint the Fill tool to jump in certain color values at gradients?

Basically at Linear fill the Blend tool is great to execute this, so like on the left example can be seen just drawing two rectangles with RGB 0,0,0 and RGB 102,102,102 and the number of blend steps determine the between step color values.

But for the right side example so for Circular fill, does not have idea how to simulate the same, or maybe with Fill tool there is a way

I'm not sure if I'm understanding you right but does this look like what you are after? There are a couple of ways you can do this, the top two I added extra colour stops to the fill handles for a circular and an elliptical fill and the bottom one is a circle with a contour. I've attached a .xar file you can have a look at. The contoured circle could be clipped inside a rectangle.

You can double click on the fill path arrow with the Fill Tool to add additional colors.

And you can drag and drop colors onto the fill path arrow.

This works with most gradient fills.

It's unusual for someone to request gradient fills with fewer steps - most people want more steps in grad fills so that visible "banding" is reduced!

However, here's my suggestion: Draw normal grad filled objects and than apply a Posterise filter. That way the objects are simple to handle and you can edit them as normal and adjust the number of steps independently.

Phil thanks that is very good like that, yes typically the more steps are the target but have idea where could apply this control on gradient steps
