xdp6 Bevel tools, CMJK and PDF

    Hello to all.
    It is my first comment!
I use Xara since 1995, year or I bought Corel Xara 1.1.
Since I am totally hooked on the product! I am at present on designer X pro.
Today I have to realize a model in CMJK, with an export PDF.
In my graph, I use in the BEVEL TOOLS. My PDF is of very mediocre quality (i've test all export configs), the BEVEL being of a different color.
Did you meet this concern(marigold)? How to solve him(it)? (I crossed(spent) everything in RVB and it is OK, but I would like to keep(preserve) the CMJK) .Merci in all of your comments opinion(notice).

    Welcome to TalkGraphics

Convert the Beveled object to editable shapes (Arrange > Convert to Editable Shapes) and then try to create your PDF again.

If this does not help, do you really need the bevel?

Things like bevels and soft shadows are converted to bitmap when you make a PDF and this might be the problem.

I just tested this. I created a beveled shape with the bevel a different color both shape and bevel used CMYK colors. Exporting to Pdf worked fine except at a lower quality the colors changed somewhat, but exporting at 300dpi it looked perfect, this was true in both cases if I converted to editable shapes or not. I may not be understanding the whole problem though.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Because the bevel is an RGB effect the colours will look slightly washed out. Turn on Simulate Colours from window menu.
    Design is thinking made visual.
