Wrapping sphere with bitmap

I was checking out this tutorial on wrapping a bitmap around a sphere, and I downloaded the referenced filters. The filters did not seem to work. The spherical mould tool seems not to work for me either.

Can anyone make any suggestions?

That was one of the early Workbooks and without looking I think it involved Sean Sedwards' Fisheye Lens filter.

If you have one of the versions of Xara that has the Live Effects Tool, you can use the Deformation Filters > Bump/Dent filter to achieve this.

Thanks for taking the time, Gary. I have Xara Designer Pro 7, and I hadn't noticed that feature before. I may post some followup posts later on. When I downloaded and installed Sean's filter, XDP7 couldn't find it. So I installed his 2 filters in Paintshop Pro, but PP choked, saying that there was something missing or the plugin was defective.
