Default Site split into sub-sites - Help Needed!

Due to my site having a large volume of pages I have had to break it down to sub-sites and work with in that manner.

I have my main site up with all the basic pages on them. Then created a sub-folder using the same nav-bar from the main site and the sub-site.

In my sub-site I have a index.htm file as I do in the main site. My main site is http://larrynormanlyrics.com and the sub-folder is just called 1970a with the page called index.htm

In the sub-site I have the home tab in the navbar linked back to the main site (as I do with all the other links that work) but even though I have it linked correctly I get this:

    http://larrynormanlyrics.com/1970a/l...manlyrics.com/ which obviously is incorrect.

The link should be http://larrynormanlyrics.com or http://larrynormanlyrics.com/index.htm

What am I doing wrong here? -- Any reply and help is appreciated - Thanks in advance!

Try this: Uncheck "correct automatically" on web properties - link and re-enter the url.

It was Unchecked. I then tried to check it and it would not work and then unchecked it again and re-entered the url and it still would not work!

I just did a random check and added this forum's url as my home page from the 1970a sub-folder and once saved I did a preview and clicked the link and it came to this url. (So it was acting as if it was working) BUT... I uploaded it and it came back to "http://www.larrynormanlyrics.com/1970a/larrynormanlyrics.com"

Totally weird... This has got me totally baffled now!

    Post your *.web file please.

Good chance you have part of a graphic with the wrong URL still embedded, but without your file you'll have us all guessing and shooting into the dark

Your home link from the 1970a pages should be to "http://www.larrynormanlyrics.com/index.htm" (as it should on all sub menu home buttons)

You have yours pointing to "http://www.larrynormanlyrics.com/1970a/larrynormanlyrics.com"

My home link is set up to be http://larrynormanlyrics.com/index.htm but once I publish to the web it comes out with "http://www.larrynormanlyrics.com/1970a/larrynormanlyrics.com"

    As I said above.
