    Default Editing a previous post

    Hi
Sorry for a silly question but how can I reedit a previous post that I,ve made. The FAQs say that I can do that as follows "To edit or delete your posts, click the Edit Post button by the particular post." The Edit post button is supposed to look like a pencil but I cannot see it anywhere.

    Can anyone please help

    Sammy

I believe that you can only edit your post within 30 minutes from when you made the post.

Edit time used to be set to 120 minutes.

I think it may still be more than 30 mins, but I'm not sure of the exact time.

Well, whatever the time limit, if the Edit Post option is disabled, then you have exceeded the time limit.

That said, you can always PM one of the moderators in the forum in which you posted and ask her or him to edit for you. Moderators can and are happy to do this.

As far as seeing the pencil, see the attached.

Thank you Gary, Steve and Frances for your replies. Nothing serious as far as the edit is concerned. Just wanted to change the graphics in the last posts as the resolution seemed blurred. Didn't want to risk adding a new post with a new graphic, just in case it seemed like trying to bump up a thread

    Have a good Christmas holiday
