HDMI or DVI?

My new computer has video connections for both. Is HDMI any better than DVI?

I don't have an HMDI connection on my monitor. So the answer is DVI for me.

ah - but at least you can take the advice to heart about not spending more than you have to on a cable

[I just bought a 2.5 metre USB extension cable - cheapest I could get at the time 10 GBP - twice the cost of the WNC that's plugged into it
