    Default The Xara manual

At least Xara had the decency to provide a proper manual unlike most leisure software these days where you're lucky if you just get a five page booklet.

But during the eleven (I think) months I've been using P&GD7, I've discovered loads of (and had several) How did I do THAT/no way did I do that/You're kidding me moments becuase a lot of things aren't covered in the manual and there's STILL a lot more to discover.
What a great piece of software!

    What "proper manual"?

I only got a DVD in the post following my download - no manual that I could see.

look on your CD - it's not in an obvious place, but a search of the CD for *.pdf should find yours if there is one there, [called Manual_UK.pdf in my case]

I assume there is one on every [recent] version CD but can't confirm that

there's one of those available for Designer Pro X - you get it when you buy/upgrade - at least I did when I upgraded but it may not be so in every case - you can also buy it separately - but not sure about for other versions

Anyway, those of us who are true males don't need manuals

Just like when assembling flat packs and other stuff. The manual only comes in handy once we screw things up

Just got mine today after upgrading from WD7 to DPX.

    Yes what a pleasant surprise.

Nothing like a comfy chair and a book miles from a flipping computer screen.

Gunna be a while before printed media is dead for this fella.

    Great work Xara.

    Cheers
