Been away for a while too ...

Very, very saddened and stunned to hear this news about Bill.

He was a hugely valued member at TG, giving help to so many ... always quick with a kind word and encouragement. He will be sorely missed.

It's a bit late, sorry, but would also like to send my condolences to his family and friends.

    Regards

    Su

I just noticed this. What a great pity. Bill helped me out on a number of occasions. It just remnds you how short life is, especially when we realise we're getting on a bit ourselves. A great shame, I only wish I had seen this post in December.

I usually only come to TG when I have a problem and can't find an answer in Xara help - I will then usually do a search here for answer. The answers to my questions are usually right in front of me and then I feel dumb for not being able to find them. Bill, and the other moderators and members here. have put up with my dumb questions for many years now. I have been busy with "other things" for some time now and did not notice this sticky the few times I have been here until today - some 8 months after Bills passing. I am sad to hear this news and would like to say something appropriate but you good people here have already said it so well. Bill - and so many others here - are special people.

You will be missed Bill. - jb
