Being a bit of a fantasy fiction writer (hence the pheonix rune and sword of the serpent queen pictures) I thought I might as well do one based on a demonic figure. I couldn't do this in PAINT (PAINT's alright for beginners [you've got to start somewhere] or if you've got younger nephews, neices, brothers or sisters) as it required a marble texture for the sarcophagus and the yellow markins on the steps were created using a font called CTHULHU RUNES.

You're rihgt. But I might need to carry out a few experiments but the shadows gave it a bit more depth (I've just experimented).
Still can't believe the artwork from other people on here and I mostly experiment with word art. XPDG7 was a real eyeopener but not a lot of people I recommend it to have heard of it (they're all Adobe. Corel or Photoshop users and I don't have that level of skill). I intentionally used the old brick wall fill as it was more suited to the ancient language inscription on the steps (The said fon't is free to download and I also have a few ancient/mystic fonts in my font library).
