Walked past this recently. It's a long disused, old school building with all the welcoming warmth of a severe correctional facility of somekind.

Very moody image Derek. Glad I didn't attend school there.

Superb image - you might wish to pop in and obtain corrective guidance on the spelling of 'severe' Derek! ;-)
I like the building. With the windows exposed and warm lighting inside, I think it could be rather a welcoming place.

It looks more like an illustration than a photo. Is that a clotted cream sky behind the school or a large wall?

When I first looked at this photo the first thing that came to my mind was that it looks like something straight out of a Charles Dikens Novel. Well done Derek![]()

The background intrigues me!
It looks like wallpaper?!
Wall paper, clotted cream. Actually its an old plaster texture overlaid and blended to the image.
