Problem with a picture in a mould when exported

Hello everybody.


Here's the problem I have, when I export a work done in Xara.

I previously imported a picture in a shape. Then I created a mould, to give perspective to this picture.
All that's ok in Xara.
But when I export the work, the picture into the shape comes back to his initial appearance.
So very disturbing...

I forget, what version of Xara are you using? I'm a bit too lazy this morning to look up old threads where I believe you've indicated which version...

I just tried this in XDP6 and I get the same results as seen in the attached screen shot from Acrobat. The original is on top, the incorrect mould version on the bottom left and a correct version on the bottom right.

Once I completed the mould and added an effect like yours, I selected everything and made a 300 DPI bitmap copy. As far as I see, that is the only method to achieve this without the error you show.

So, can you be more explicite when you tell me : "I selected everything and made a 300 DPI bitmap copy".
Is it a function in Xara (bitmap copies) ?

Hello Stéphane.

Yes, with the mould selected--and if you used a rectangle for the gradient and/or transparency--right-click and choose Create Bitmap Copy, which is near the bottom of the context menu that pops up.
