Nancy I would recommend use True Color rather than a limited color palette.

    Hi,
Also to add to Bill's comment go into settings and set the settings to highest...these aren't the default settings.

Nancy if you use a Truecolor .png it will open in PaintShop Pro with a transparent background and no jaggies. If you use 256 colors or less you get the blackbackground and the jaggies because it must antialias.

Thanks for the answers, will give it a try....will look for true color. Scotty, for higher settings, do you mean in XX or X3d? Sorry for being dense but it's been a long time since I've used either program. I really miss working in XX.

Also, embarrassed about the 'bump'...I missed the second page.

Nancy Truecolor isn't hard to find in the Xara 3D 6 Export dialog.

You can see the difference when you open a Truecolor and a 256 color .png in PSP.

Oh Bill, that is excellent! I originally tried 32 color thinking that it was 32 thousand color. When that didn't work I went to the 256 color because I thought that's what was in a previous example. Pffft...I still haven't learned to read. Thanks so much.

edit: That did 'er, worked like a charm. Tell me what I'd do without you all in my life? No, you're not in my will but remember that I still love you
