Default GET AN EYEFUL OF THIS!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=T07kBrAOOsw

It was just an idea I had for a fictional graphics design company, hence the eye shaped logo and the winking eye.
The appearance of the snake at the endwas easy to do and I used the ARIAL BLACK font for the wording and the Slyvester font to create the python character and his comment is aimed at those who sneer at my level of competance of the Digital Spy forum and anybody making abusive critisism.
    Sorry about using the link.

I think you should see your development as path to improvement, not a war against your critics. I don't think that sneering is something that helps anyone, especially when you are at the start of an artistic journey.

If people are cruel to you say nothing and just show them a shoulder.
I think your video is a gas. Stick at it..

I've been doing text art for ages and;ll keep doing it. All you need is a good font and decent software, even ten quid/dollar software like Serif DrawPlus 6.0 or PagePlus 11, Fotoview's Word Artist (free to download).

Like it SB. Slow your text down a little, I'm a slow reader now.

    That's a creative dilemma=speed or qaulity.
If you decrease the framefrate (eg.1 second) it becomes too jerky and seemingly too slow but increase the frame rate, the animation's smooterr but it makes things go too quick so it's either smooth unwatchable due to the speed animation orwatchable but jerky animation.

Quality is important - your viewer doesn't care how you made the animation. It's not a creative dilemma.

You can make longer, smooth animations in Xara, I have no doubt. They probably take a bit of extra effort.

@scaleback: Why don't you post your .xar file in the Xara animations forum and ask for help there? If you listen to the replies and try what they say there are some members who are very good with using Xara to create animations who will be very glad to help you learn to improve

SB, you don't have to change the speed, just overlap the text on several frames. Then it appears longer for reading. Have fun.
