Anybody having problems with bulleted text in IE? Letters on top of each other specifically. This is with the website preview feature.
If so, is there a workaround?

Hi Jim,
Your profile shows the #6 versions of Xara. In XDP6 I cannot replicate the issue. Can you upload a sample page Xara file?
Take care, Mike
Sorry, should have updated my profile. I'm using Pro X. Here's the file. I've only doe the first three pages so far. Pages 2 & 3 have bulleted text. The problem occurs in Firefox too.
Hi Jim--you cannot use fully justified text...change it to left justified.
Take care, Mike
Brilliant. That cured it. Thanks Mike.
Jim
The text is totally bollixed. It has nothing to do with the bullets.
Select the text and set the Text Style to No Style, then select Normal Text, and reformat the text to the size and font you want.
Also I noticed that you had inserted space after the bullets. In my opinion this is too much space. The normal space added when you create bulleted text should be sufficient.

Fact is, fully justified text simply doesn't work well and breaks without notice, in particularly with bullets.
And besides, without CSS fully controlling fully justified text (versus absolute positioning) it breaks upon resizing text in a browser. Look at fully justified text (esp. with an absolute positioning scheme) as a print only device. It will save headaches.

To illustrate. Two screen shots. One is as viewed in IE Preview. One is from a PDF. File names indicate which is which.
Same file. Different results.
Take care, Mike
Thanks for pointing out the space Gary. I had copied it all from the client's old site and when I pasted it in the bullets disappeared, so I re-added them, without noticing that spaces had been introduced instead of the bullets. Anyway, all is fine and dandy now.
many thanks to you both.
