How do I create a navigation for small scrolling images on a web page?

Hi,
I am creating a website and on this site I want to put six or seven visable thumbnails.
To the left and right of these thumbnails I want to have a left and right arrow, so that when I click on one of the arrows the next or previous thumbnail will show.
However, there are other items on the page that is static, so I don't want to browse to another web page.
The thumbnails should also be clickable so when I click on a thumbnail it will open either a new window showing the larger image - or go to a new web page.

This is what I am looking for
< Previous Image 1 | Image 2 | Image 3 | Image 4 Next >
Click on > and Image 2 -- Image 5 will show
Click on > and Image 3 -- Image 6 will show
Click on < and Image 2 -- Image 5 will show

I an using Xara Designer Pro X, updated to the latest version.

OK Have you looked at some of the slide show widgets in the Designs Gallery > Page Elements > Photo > Photo Slideshow Widgets? Specifically the Nivo Slider or the Fade Slideshow.

Yes, I have looked at them, but they work the way I want.

Here is a Gallery I made using Xara's built in flash, it took me about 1hr.
Have a look at the file and see how it was made. You can swap out the images by dragging an image from your bitmap gallery onto the photos/thumbs

I will keep this ;-)

However...
I want the thumbnails to advance one by one when I click on the right - or left - arrow.
And when I click on a thumbnail I should go to the coorrespondent web page without getting the larger image.

But I can't find out how...
