    Default PSPX5 is available now

Corel PaintShop Pro X5 is available now from the Corel website.

You can download a 30-day trial copy for free to decide for yourself if an upgrade is worth it.

I have just bought a few days and now they do a deal to sell it cheaper than I paid the other day. MAD!

Is there a simple way to curve text in an arch form?

    Yes, there is.
Write your text line. Click Apply.
Draw the shape you want the text to fit to. For an arch the easiest way is to use the Ellipse Tool.
Make sure there is No Fill, by making the Background and Fill Properties box in the Materials Palette invisible.
Set the Line width to 1.

Hit K for the Pick Tool when you have drawn the right arched shape.
With the Pick Tool still active, hold the Shift key and click on the text line, this will select both the text and arch (ellipse).
Right-click anywhere inside the box>Fit text to path.

You are now left with an unwanted ellipse with text added.
    To make the line invisible:
Double-click on the New Ellipse Layer in the Layers Palette, to get the Vector Property dialog box.
Change the Stroke width to 0.
    Click OK.

    Hope this helps.
