    This aircraft was a speed and distance record holder owned and operated by the Asahi Newspaper chain.

    All the graphics were from that period and the companies current graphics are practically identical for all intents and purposes.

    For a time it was the world's fastest production aircraft.

    During the war the Japanese used it, modified slightly, for recon/light attack.

    It could out climb a Spit in terms of ceiling, big as a P-47 but less than half the weight.

    wow, i know nothing about this plane
    i looked at the image and would never have expected it to be such a performer, considering it had space for a navigator as well
    lovely drawing and historical addition - makes an illustration all the more interesting!
