It scanned OK with one of my scanning apps, but not with the main one I use. I would place the QR code on a simpler background. You cannot hide the damn things and they are downright ugly, so you may as well just live with the things.

Hi Gary,
Yes that is why I played with sprucing them up. You can extrude some but are harder to scan.
The main attraction for them is the amount of data they can incorporate within a small space.

This particular QR code will likely be able to be scanned with more scanners if you take one of the lighter colors of the fractal background (what it appears to look like to me) and create a square the same size of the QR code, fill it with the lighter color and place it directly in back of the code. It will not change the overall appearance much and ensure more scanners work with it.
