Repeating problem

I am a total novice at this so I hope someone can help me.
When I edit a page with Xara 7.0 the edit I do on the page is repeated on every page, when I then go to that page and undo the edit the undo is repeated on all pages also, how do I edit one page at a time without it repeating.

You select the object that you do not desire to keep repeating, right-click and select Stop updating. You will be presented with a dialog of choices of All copies or Just this copy (and cancel). Choose the option you desire.

Thank you for your reply, it worked.
But I have a similar problem.
When I extent the background on one page it extends on all pages.
Some pages don't have as much text, so I need a shorter scroll, but when I drag down the background on one page it alters the other page backgrounds also, it is the background layer that determines the scroll size bar also. I hope I explained that right.

Make sure in the page setup (Options dialog) that the selection All pages in document the same is unchecked.

Thanks again, the obvious is always hard to see.
One last thing, I set my page at 955 and 494 is this ok ?
But when I view it in a browser the page is not centered on the background, should I go with the 640 VGA instead, but I would really like to fill the entire browser with the page up to the edge of the background, but I am not sure if this is possible.
