    I see now where we differed in our approach, applying the glow shadow to the bottom layer only and locking it down is what I was missing. I gave my glow shadow a multi colour linear fill as well. Thanks for posting this Mohamed, this is a great technique!

    @Larry, thanks i do well now,
    I hope to see some works done in DP with this drawing technique.
    Anyway, here is a new drawing using the same technique created from my mind using another font.

    Great drawing Frances, one questions please, you will add any another drawing elements to the birthday card or not?
    @Larry, looking forward to see your drawing, sorry, i know my english in written Tutorials is not the best,
    but i try to add graphics elements to the tutīs. to make it easy to understand!

    I love it when someone requests a technique, everyone goes to a lot of trouble to explain, and the person requesting the technique never reappears.

    Well, at least it gives us something to do. Nice solutions. Especially BP's last one.

    here is one of my attemps to do it not completely exact
    my knowledge of graphic designer need some more time but it is a very good tutorial and the images explain it well
    it made me work with different tools I learned a lot from it I redo one of these days the tutorial

    Thanks Gary, and thank you Germaine for posting your drawing have seen it now, well, this is good and you have improved the drawing yourself, but if you donīt mind there are some points i would like to say in my attached image that is if you want to create it like my tut. but feel free to change and create what you like in your drawing.
