Are these kiln fired tiles? If so, they lack the look of a ceramic tile.

Have you tried applying a rounded bevel instead of the shadow? It might make the design more realistic.

I really like the Yellow and Blue one.
Are you going to use the tiles somewhere?

Have not really come to any conclusions about use purposes for them Rik.

    Do you have any ideas?

I can provide you a Xara copy.

    Might be interesting in metallic.

As a Brit you might already know that Pugin was the interior designer for Westminister when it was reconstructed after the fire.

In this case the interest is strictly in reproducing the graphical info from the tiles.

I guess when I say tile I could say tile pattern.

I have thought about reproduction in different media including ceramic tiles, glass tiles or even metallic tiles using one of your many and appreciated tuts, number 37 I believe.

TKI I think they look great, particularly the yellow and blue one.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
