cyberqueen adding to or subtracting from the selection with the shift key is something you need to remember. You can drag select also but you may get more then you want

if all you want to do is create great panoramas, give this a try

    http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/...roups/ivm/ice/

drag and drop photos, it does the rest, great results

    Hi Big Frank,
I 'd like to second your suggestion. I've been using ICE for a few years since having problems with Xara panoramas. The problems were:
1-It did not like trying to join more than about three photos.
2-It was as slow as a wet week.
3-It did not join vertical photos. For example a rock face with climbers on it or a tall building.
4-It did not join groups of photos. For example a six photo panorama made up of three on top and three underneath.

Things may have changed in the last few years with xara but ICE did them from the start. If it can't join all the photos it joins what it can. This can be a great help.
    ........And it is free.

    cheers
    Erik

A few months ago, I bought PhotoStitcher for panoramas. It's from the same company that makes InPaint, which I like a lot. They had a special offer on PhotoStitcher, so I tried it out and bought it. I haven't used it all that often, but when I have, I've been very happy with the results. I especially like the fact that it's simple to use and fast.
