    Default Gears Stereogram

    This image required a tight line drawing. This is just the overlay. I am still working on the hidden part of the image.

    Don't know whether we're supposed to?
    But, I can already see 3D effect in the right hand image.

    The gear in the centre stands out. Including the hub of the gear.

    Well, the 3d image should be in the center.

    The drawing repeats five or six times and each time the software shifts parts of the repeating image to create the hidden image.

    I should have posted the depth image. The software looks at this image in terms of light (front) and dark (back) and adjusts the repeating image to create the illusion of 3D depth.

    This is interesting Gary, as I've never really understood how these stereograms work. I'm referring to the ones with the 'hidden image' in them. Are you saying that it's by using a depth image (as you've shown above) as an opacity mask that the 'subtle' image is revealed? If so, I wanna give you a big hug
