Default Content Pack and Template Upgrade?

Can someone be so kind as to tell me if it is possible to simply update the Content Pack and Templates of Designer Pro 7 on-line via the program? In other words, can users of Pro 7 get the updated re-sizable content as a freebie, or does getting that require the purchase of Designer Pro 8?

I am not hundred percent sure but I would guess that you'd have to update to DPX (8) to obtain the new content. Often updated content is only working in a new version of the program because its software has added functionality.

Oh well, it was worth asking. Thanks.

It's not the templates that enable the program to exptend the page automatically in the design document (although that feature has been applied to the new templates in version MX & X), but it's due to the new feature being present in the program which allows this to happen.

If you open a file that has this feature applied and saved from Designer Pro X in Designer Pro 7, then all of that feature will be as if it was never there because version 7 doesn't support it.
