i am building a print website...

i want a visitor to be able to download a "Template" for business cards, brochures, postcards etc

can i put 1 template in a zip folder and call it business card template and a visitor download it

or can i put 5-6 different templates in a zip folder and the visitor download them all

How do i get the visitor to download and save the templates to their computer?

Create and select your download button
Press shift+ctrl+alt+A, browse to your template file and click open. This will ensure the file is exported with the site.
Edit the download button link to index_htm_files/template.zip or whatever the file name is

Select the object you want to apply the link to in Web Designer and go to Utilities > Web Properties > Link tab and select Link to File and select the zip file will ensure the file is uploaded with your site.

Drwyd's solution, although is not wrong, is how to cause a file to be attached to the xar document (ie the file you attach is stored within the xar documents data records), I'd recommend not doing it this way in this case and apply the link instead - the end result will be the same in either case.
