    Default Spider Clothes

A spider web hand traced in Xara , and vector warped in E3. Then back to Xara for more drawing and break shapes. Back to E3 for coloring. Assembled in Xara.

Rik E3 is the Creature House Expression version 3.

Microsoft bought Creature House several years ago. I'm not sure MS still offers the last CH release on their site. For a few years after the buy out it was available free on MS.

EDIT: Good News it is still available: https://www.microsoft.com/expression.../download.aspx

    Bill,

A web drawing. You would need an older version of Xara to communicate With E3. I use EPS from Xara to E3.2, and PDF from E3 to Xara.
My methods were unknown. Many of the capabilities were removed in the transition to Design. I spent years working with environments. So, I remain with the E3/Xara in combination.

    Thanks Rich.

Are you saying to use one of the Xtreme versions or should it be X¹, or the Xara X released from 2000?

    Bill.

I use XXP3. You just need the eps export version before it was updated. Maybe XXP4 or XXP5 was when things were changed. E3 is old and used a version 3 PDF. You need to export out without rasterizing. It gives vector then. Rasterizing gives separate images with something like a transparency mask included.

A view of a vector warp group. A bitmap warp mesh is similar. As a stroke, you can flow a bitmap along a path.
