July Font Play!

It's the first Friday of the month time for a new font play!

The font I've chosen this month is Emmett and it is one of the fonts that comes with Xara. If you don't have it installed you can find it and easily install it from the fonts gallery.

So what can you do with this font? Show off your font play here!

Ok everyone I think we can do better than only two submissions here If you don't like the font I've chosen I'm open to suggestions for next month's font play (as long as they are free or from the Xara fonts gallery)

So here are two more from me, one is an experiment with some warm sunset colours and the other is a commercial use for this font I thought it went rather well in this ad.

I like both Francis, it is a nice font. Not had time to submit anything for this months font play, only just caught up finishing Can v3 in the Xone Will make an attempt this week end. Busy forum T.G., you never know what to start on. The melon vid. was really good Francis.

Personally I prefer the Medicine Shoppe one but both are nice. Don't give up because I for one mean to do one, but so far have been busy with other things.

It's off in a couple places but I chose not to spend any more time on it, since I have already done it over several times.

Thanks Frances the font name made me think of Emmet Kelly, my favorite clown so I went with that. I had done a pastel painting of him years ago and entered it in an artf fair and won a blue ribbon.
