Default Yet more problems with text colour

I'm using web designer mx premium. Does anybody know why colour of text should change just by my selecting that I want it to link to another page using 'web properties-link'? Every time I try and do this the text changes colour as soon as I 'apply' the change and I can't seem to change the colour back (unless I remove the link).

NEVER MIND - FIXED I'll try clicking the great big box that clearly says 'Use common website link colours'. Perhaps that has something to do with it. T***er, well, it has been a long day.

link colours can be adjusted on the Web Properties >> Website tab

Select custom colour from the drop down list and then click edit.

Many thanks Drwyd, you got in just as I sorted it and posted an edited version. Many thanks for your (as usual) very prompt assistance.

I would have posted this 20 minutes ago but my wife walked in and insisted I read a NY Times article about people who are always too busy.

Set your link colors to none and make sure to check Underline links.

Good tip that one. I'll do that now why I remember. Thanks for your input and the help.
