Default Stop & Post July 2012

    Hello everyone,

Welcome to Stop & Post July 2012.
Are you working on something new? Improving a previous work? Maybe just trying some funky new text effects..
Whatever it is, show us what you´ve been doing.
There´s plenty of space for all!
And don´t worry... It doesn´t matter if it´s finished or not as long as it has been done with Xara software.

    See you next month,
    Happy posting!

This is a scene design that I did for my recent animation called The Good Neighbor. It's easy to create the art in Xara and then I can move around individual objects and parts to tighten up the design in preparation for animating.

Awesome Zeb. Those characters look familiar, are they from one of your videos?

Thanks, Larry! Yeah, like I said in my post, it's from my animation The Good Neighbor. You can find it on my YT channel.

That's cool Zeb, I very much like your style of cartooning.

I'm messing around with a space stereogram at the mo. I'm still a beginner with these, the mask isn't quite right yet, so still working on that. But this is what I've got so far.

That's neat Su. The images at the bottom ala Gary Priester is a neat touch.

This is for a rock group called The Paperboats. It is not the direction they want to go, but I really like it.

Thanks for your comments Larry and Gary (hmm that sounds like it could be the title of a sit com).

Gary: Beautiful stereogram, I like the colours and especially like the little boats at the bottom with the reflections. As Larry said I don't think you need to worry, I'm still having trouble rendering the masks for spheres, let alone anything more complex. But they are fun to do.
