Folk art Rooster is a hen

I did the folk art rooster from Workbook 64 page, page 5 awhile back and I liked it so much I did it again as a hen. Who knows? I may even try a baby chick!! Thanks for looking and thanks to all who help me through the snags.

I forgot about that one. We used to have 12 hens. Each one had an opera heroine's name and none were named Picata, Parmesan, Fricassee, and none ever were the guest of honor at dinner.

I'm glad to hear that last part. All my chickens are tiny bantams.

I grew up on a small farm and most of the animals (and chickens) we didn't name. All of us kids knew if it didn't have a name it was food. The exception to that was one hen who was blind, she was simply the blind hen, but we took special care of her someone had to go out each evening to make sure that she made it into the henhouse for the night and there was a drop down door we closed each night to keep predators out.

What a happy hen she must have been. I know all about predators....fight them all the time. Worst is snakes.
My hen was made with Xara 7. Can you move it? I thought that's where I was.

Snakes aren't a problem around here, but there are lots of other kinds! I don't have permissions in this forum but I'm sure someone who does will come along soon
