I tried out a little NURBs modeling, the squiggly baloon was the hardest, then rendered in RenderMan, and used a Bryce version 1 background (IMO, earlier versions of Bryce competed with Vue better).

I have haeard that quite a few times Gare ,do you ever use Terragen?

I have a hard time with Terragen, I don't know why. Yes, I've got the demo, but I've also been using Vue for like around 6 years.

Hi Gary,

I like this colorfull image... but you said you used NURBS, and i would like to know wich app you used to build your models.

For NURBS i mainly use Rhino. I tried Nurbana some months ago, but it was far from usefull.

I must say also i'm smiling, thinking of using Rhino+Renderman for baloons is like using a bazooka on a bee. But hat's just a smile, tools are not important, the result is all, and the (wo)man doing its art thru the tool.
