Default Still stuck with my animation

I am trying to create a simple animation for my website. So far I've created a 6 frame animation. I've imbeded it into my website. I want to have each frame of the animation link initially to another page on my website, and then, in the future, to other websites. I tried to link one frame to another site, but when I upload it online, I can't click on it. Because the animation is a new file, I can't figure out how to link it to another page on my site, because the only thing that connects it to the site is the placeholder. I'm frustrated because I'm beginning to get the concepts, but they're not working for me. Anyone one who can help me, or give me step by step directions would be incredibly appreciated. Thanks.

Are you saving as .swf or .gif?

I think I'm saving it as .swf, but I'm looking at the file and can't tell. When I click on save as, it gives me 2 options. either all files *.* or Magix Web Designer *.web. So I have no idea. With each frame I have it at swf8 under the flash options tab.

    You need to 'export animation'..
'Save as' is to save the project file (.web) to enable further editing later.

    File>>Export Animation
Then choose the .swf file type.

Skippi, with sledger working with you, you can't go wrong.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Thank you sledger. I'll try it and see what happens.
